Thermoplastic road marking material is made of plasticized resin, aggregate, pigment, and glass beads and is delivered as a dry powder. It is heated before application to the road surface, where it swiftly cools and hardens.The material consists of 100% solids and is environment friendly as it is solvent free. Thermoplastics road markings are generally regarded as superior to and more cost effective than paint marking as they have better durability, reflectivity, visibility and provide less traffic disruption during application.
Thermoplastic road marking material are packed in 25 kg sealed polythene sacks with a storage life of at least one year. The material should be stored under cover in dry condition and under normal circumstances, without moisture. The product provides outstanding weathering resistance and colour stability thanks to its aliphatic composition.
The intermix glass beads ensure long lasting retro-reflectivity, excellent adhesion on asphalt roads and wear resistance ensures longevity of the marking material. Using thermoplastic road marking material may reduce over 25% of accidents by improving the performance of road marking.
